Tulip baskets have a certain elegance to them. They have a very feminine cut to their profile and because they are a hard walled basket, they are useful fragile items at the market.
Large Tulips are 18" wide x 12" high x 13" deep. The handles fold down and are approximately 8" high.
Small Tulips are 15" wide x 11" high x 12" deep. The handles are approximately 7" high.
These are in the same family as the Oval Baskets and the Square Baskets, but the base footprint in slightly smaller.
Maintain your Ghana basket by submerging it fully once or twice a year to hydrate the grasses and tighten up the weave. These baskets are a longstanding tradition in Ghana and you will be amazed at their durability as well as their stylish appearance.
